Packing
your items for shipment
Please only ship the items that
you are needing an estimate on. Keep all cases, cards and extra
accessories not required for estimating your repair.
Please be certain that all camera equipment is well
padded within a proper, corrugated cardboard shipping carton.
The major carriers (UPS, FED X, DHL and USPS) state that a minimum
of 1 1/2" of padding is required between the item and the
closest edge of the box in order to be covered by insurance.
For us please allow at least 2 inches of padding on all sides
of the carton around the equipment. Wrap each individual item
in bubble wrap or a plastic bag, then use styrofoam or crumpled
newspaper to fill the extra space.
(Padded envelopes are insufficient
to ship your camera in!! Remember digital cameras are nothing
more then computers that take pictures...how would you package
your laptop to ship it??)
MailBoxes etc. or the UPS Store should be able to
assist you best if you do not have the proper materials.
Send the package insured for its value. We are not responsible
for items lost or damaged in shipment. Be sure to enclose a copy
of the Estimate Submission Form.
